The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (MCCA) today announced the winners of the July Advantage Boston Taxi Rewards program at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center (BCEC) in an effort to encourage greater cab driver hospitality and to reward those drivers who deliver superb customer service. Jean Eloiseau of Medford and Islam Rzakhanov of Winthrop both received $500.00 for their efforts of going above and beyond customer satisfaction.


James E. Rooney, Executive Director of the MCCA, presents Jean Eloiseau of Medford with a $500.00 reward as a recipient of the July Advantage Boston Taxi Rewards program.


Islam Rzakhanov of Winthrop receives a $500.00 reward from Rooney for his outstanding customer service to conventioneers and visitors of Boston.



James E. Rooney, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority, welcomes the two recipients of the MCCA Hospitality Scholarship to the BCEC, presenting them each with an academic reward of $2,500.00. Michael McGuire (left), of Norwood, MA, and Kaley Taylor, of Chelmsford, MA, were selected by an internal committee of the MCCA from more than 90 scholarship applications. McGuire will be studying hotel administration at Cornell University beginning in September, while Taylor is currently studying hospitality management at Endicott College.
